Project Description

Ne2 Asia Pacific Case Study: Transforming the Digital Experience for Trading Platforms

Client: Ne2 Asia Pacific

Project Duration: June 2018 – September 2018

Overview:

Ne2 Pacific partnered with Gruiform to elevate their trading platform, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and reusability through a complete redesign of the front end using atomic design principles. The goal was to introduce a modular, mobile-friendly system that enhances the user experience and prepares for future expansion into the North American markets.

Challenges:

•Rebuilding the front end with a modular approach.

•Addressing UX challenges from the legacy system while improving performance.

•Developing a platform that supports scaling and reusability.

•Ensuring seamless coordination between design, product, and development teams.

Solutions Provided:

Gruiform implemented a structured development approach, integrating atomic design principles to break down and optimize static components of the existing system. Key highlights include:

1. Atomic Design Integration: The system’s static elements were decomposed to introduce modularity, ensuring ease of updates, scalability, and responsiveness for future iterations.

2. UI/UX Redesign: A complete overhaul of the navigation bar and market grid layouts, leveraging atomic mapping for smaller, reusable components that optimize both user experience and design efficiency.

3. Collaborative Product Strategy: Gruiform worked closely with Ne2 Pacific’s team to align the product strategy with market expansion goals, ensuring the platform’s success in the Asia-Pacific market with the potential to be inherited by North American markets.

Key Features:

Modular Design: The introduction of smaller, hierarchical components allows for rapid development and redesign while increasing overall efficiency.

Geolocation Features: Enhancements to the platform’s trading system to enable users to navigate and interact with market windows more intuitively.

Seamless User Experience: By focusing on atomic design principles, the platform provides a streamlined, modern trading experience.

Results:

Through Gruiform’s innovative use of atomic design and their cross-functional collaboration processes, Ne2 Pacific now operates on a scalable, modular system with enhanced UI/UX. The redesign not only improved performance but also laid the foundation for future growth in international markets. The transition to Ne2 Pacific 2.0 was a success, with a vision to evolve further in future releases.
